Backing Up and Restoring Data

Protect your business data with regular backups. Learn how to backup and restore your AutoHisaab data.

Why Backup?

Backups protect against:

  • Device loss or damage
  • Accidental deletion
  • Data corruption
  • App reinstallation

Backup Options

AutoHisaab supports:

  • Cloud Storage: Automatic cloud backups
  • Local Backup: Manual export

Creating Backups

  1. Go to Profile > Backup & Data
  2. Choose backup method
  3. Tap 'Create Backup'
  4. Wait for completion
  5. Verify backup success

Automatic Backups

Enable automatic backups:

  • Daily automatic backups
  • Scheduled backup times
  • Cloud storage integration

Restoring Data

To restore from backup:

  1. Go to Backup & Data screen
  2. View backup history
  3. Select backup to restore
  4. Confirm restoration
  5. Restart app

Best Practices

  • Backup regularly (at least weekly)
  • Test restore process
  • Keep multiple backup copies
  • Store backups in secure locations
